Barry Eliminates Schulz in Biggest Pot of the Tournament, Moves Close to Six Million

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Robert Barry
Robert Barry

Robert Barry opened to 100,000 from under the gun and Kevin Schulz flatted from the big blind.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Barry went with a pot-sized bet of 250,000 and Schulz called.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and Barry bet 500,000 and Schulz called once again.

On the {8-Clubs} river, Barry put Schulz all-in for his last 1,000,000 chips and Schulz went into the tank for nearly five minutes. The floor was called and the tournament director gave him 30 seconds to act. With less than ten seconds to go, Schulz called with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

However, Barry had {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for top-top and Schulz was eliminated while Barry jumped even further ahead in the chip lead.
