Mori Gets Ho to Tank-Fold on River in Big Early Pot

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Maria Ho opened from late position and was called by Rodney Mori in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Ho continued for 1,000. Mori raised to 3,200, and Ho called following a fold from the big blind.

On the {10-Spades} turn, Mori continued for 5,500 and Ho called once more.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Mori put Ho to the test for 7,000 of her roughly 11,700 remaining chips. Ho went deep into the tank and after a couple of minutes, she laid it down.
