A star-studded field of 249 players out of an original 773 entries await Day 2 of Event #32: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.

Leading the way is Japanese star Tamon Nakamura with 311,000 as he chases his first World Series of Poker bracelet. German soccer star Max Kruse made the final table of the $1,500 2-7 Lowball yesterday, jumped right into this event, and takes 224,000 into Day 2, good for second place on the leaderboard.

Right behind them are some of the biggest names in poker. Anthony Zinno dominated this event a year ago on his way to winning his fourth bracelet. He’s off to a good start again this year, with 122,000. Phil Ivey (105,000) and Michael Mizrachi (76,000) are two more names to watch, while Mike Matusow (45,000) and Daniel Negreanu (29,000) have their work cut out for them with their short stacks.
