Matusow Can't Scoop With Three Aces

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Limit Omaha Hi/lo

A player limped for 2,500, before Ira Berman made it to 5,000. Another player called and then Mike Matusow reraised it to 7,500 from the big blind. The first player called and so did Berman before the last player announced all in for 10,500.

Matusow then made it to 12,500 and was called by his two opponents.

It was four players to the flop with one player all in.

The flop came {2-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and the three players checked to see a {a-Diamonds} on the turn. Matusow led 5,000, forcing a player to fold before Berman called.

The river was a {k-Diamonds} and Matusow bet another 5,000 and was called by Berman.

Matusow showed {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for trips aces, and split the pot with Berman, who tabled {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for the low.

The all-in player mucked his card and was eliminated on the hand.
