Nakamura Picks Off Loman, Then Quarters Williams

Kyle Loman raised from the under the gun as Peter Brownstein, Richard Bai, and big blind Tamon Nakamura came along and called.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} got rid of Brownstein and Bai as Nakamura and Loman went heads-up to the river after checking the {k-Clubs} turn.

Nakamura checked again on the {j-Hearts} river before Loman bet. Nakamura let out a deep sigh before making a reluctant call.

"You got it," Loman said, turning over {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Nakamura showed {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for kings and jacks to win the pot.

The next hand, David Williams raised before Nakamura three-bet in the small blind, Williams four-bet and Nakamura called to see the {5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades} flop.

Williams continued with a bet, Nakamura raised, Williams re-raised, and they got the rest of their chips in the middle

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Nakamura completed his flush on the river to win the high pot, while both players shared a low as Nakamura took three-quarters.

Brownstein took the lead on fourth street and both opponents called. A bet on fifth was enough to get rid of Nakamura, but Albini stuck it out and called another bet on sixth.

On seventh street, Brownstein opened up {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a pair, but Albini showed {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for trips as Brownstein flung his board back toward the dealer.

"Three nines," Nakamura announced, showing the {9-Hearts}.

"Three queens," Daly countered, turning over {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{a-Spades} to take the big pot.

Left with 45,000, Figueredo was all in two hands later against Eddy Vataru and David Williams. Vataru and Williams both checked it down.

Williams finished with {q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, while Figueredo could only show {3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a pair of fours.
