Ramos Moving Up

Level 8
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

GG Poker Ambassador Felipe Ramos opened on the button and was called by Matt Vengrin out of the big blind.

Both players took two cards on the initial draw and action checked through to the second draw, where Vengrin stood pat and Ramos took another two. Vengrin led out and Ramos made the call.

"I think I'm going to have the best hand, you might have to draw two", Vengrin said as he stood pat. Ramos did not heed his opponent's advice, instead drawing just one card. Vengrin, as it turned out, had been mistaken as Ramos revealed he held {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} having drawn the six on the end to scoop the pot and move up the leaderboard.
