Wasserson Holds To Win Large Three-Way Pot

Level 23

Picking up the action after the first draw, Eric Wasserson in the small blind, Shaun Deeb in the big blind and Brian Hastings on the button were involved in what was already a large pot.

Wasserson checked to Deeb, who bet. Hastings called behind him and action was back to Wasserson, who decided to raise. Both Deeb and Hastings called to maintain three-way action heading to the second draw.

On the second draw, Wasserson stood pat while Deeb and Hastings both took one. Wasserson then followed up his earlier aggression with a bet, which Deeb and Hastings called.

The same drawing pattern was repeated during the final draw, after which action checked through. Wasserson tabled {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}, which his two opponents had been unable to outdraw, sending a large pot Wasserson's way.

On the second draw, Zack took just one card while Hastings again stood pat. Zack checked for a second time and called when Hastings fired off another bet.

On the first draw, Deeb took three cards to Hastings' two. Deeb then check-called the continuation from Hastings.

Hastings, however, held {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to pip Deeb to the pot.

"I still cover you f***ng bitches," Deeb jokingly said to Daniel Zack and Eric Wasserson, the latter of whom remarked, "Do you?" as the rest of the table laughed.

Hastings, meanwhile, has started to run away with the chip lead, moving up over 5,000,000.
