Arroyos Says Adios To Four Players In Two Hands

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The early position player bet 21,000 and was called by middle position and the cut-off. Pedro Arroyos bet 121,000 and was only called by the cutoff. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Spades} Arroyos bet enough to put his opponent all-in and the cutoff called.

Cutoff: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Pedro Arroyos: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The cutoff was behind to Arroyos's aces but had a flush draw and backdoor opportunities. The {7-Clubs} turn improved Arroyos to trip sevens and the {4-Diamonds} was a brick and "Big Pete" was awarded the pot.

The very next hand, four players had their chips in the middle, including Arroyos in the big blind who covered the three players, which were the button (35,000), middle position (135,000), and early position (160,000)

Button: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Middle Position: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Early Position: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Pedro Arroyos: {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The early position player was ahead with pocket aces, but the flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} gave Arroyos the lead with two pair. The {8-Hearts} on the turn was even sweeter for Arroyos who improved to a boat. The {9-Spades} river gave Arroyos a bigger boat and sealed the fate of his three opponents who head to the rail.
