Seiver Makes a Tough Call

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Goodman raised to 200,000 from late position and was met by calls from both Steve Zolotow in the small blind and Scott Seiver in the big blind.

Action checked around on the {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop and did so once again on the {a-Diamonds} turn.

The river came {10-Diamonds} and both Zolotow and Seiver checked for a third time. Goodman was not prepared to go to showdown just yet and fired off a bet of 450,000. Zolotow quickly folded but Seiver did not follow suit. After pondering for over a minute and exclaiming that he "beat nothing" Seiver eventually made a tough but correct call with {k-Hearts}{6-Spades} for bottom pair and scooped the pot.
