Kronwitter Loses a Couple

Action was on the river as the board read {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}. From under the gun, John Riordan bet the pot which was 63,500. Jonas Kronwitter had the decision on him from the hijack.

After taking almost the entire 30 seconds he called. Riordan showed the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the winning hand.

The next hand the flop read {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Dylan Weisman jammed his remaining 26,500 and Kronwitter called.

Weisman had a pair and a straight draw with the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} while Kronwitter had the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and the river came the {9-Spades} to give Weisman a straight and keep him alive.
