Yonnotti Scoops Pot with Top Pair

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Yonnotti opened from under the gun for 60,000. He received calls from Ravi Raghavan and Roongsak Griffeth, in the small and big blinds respectively.

Yonnotti fired for another 70,000 on the {q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. Raghavan got out of the way before Griffeth put in a raise to 200,000. Yonnotti made the call.

After Griffeth checked in the dark, Yonnotti checked back the {3-Spades} turn. On the {10-Hearts} river, Yonnotti fired his biggest barrel yet, for 270,000. After a few minutes of thought, Griffeth found the call. Yonnotti turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}, good for top pair. Griffeth tossed his hand in the muck as Yonnotti scooped the pot.
