Seiver Loses a Small One

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Scott Seiver opened to 2,000 from the button and received calls from the small and big blinds.

Action was checked to Seiver on the {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and he bet out for 2,000. The small blind called and the big blind got out of the way to send the two players to the turn.

The small blind checked to Seiver for a second time on the {5-Clubs} turn and once again Seiver bet, this time 6,000. His opponent was not convinced to let go of his hand, however, opting to call.

The {10-Hearts} was checked through and the small blind showed down {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the flopped top pair. Seiver mucked to send the pot his opponent's way.
