Lonis and Klassen Chop With the Same Hand — Again

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Jesse Lonis opened from the hijack and Yi Klassen three-bet from the cutoff. The action folded back to Lonis, who four-bet all-in. Klassen called with a larger stack.

Jesse Lonis: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Yi Klassen: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Both players had the same hand and the {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs} didn't change much. The {10-Clubs} had Klassen freerolling with a flush draw but the {10-Spades} river ensured a chop.

The two players chopped an earlier all-in confrontation when they both held pocket eights.

Jesse Lonis Eliminated in 14th Place ($16,920)

The action folded to Marco Johnson in the small blind who raised it up. Jesse Lonis re-raised from the big blind and Johnson countered with a four-bet. Lonis got the last of his chips in for around 40,000 and the cards were face up.

Jesse Lonis: {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Marco Johnson: {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Johnson took the lead with a pair of queens. The {8-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Diamonds} on the river provided no help for Lonis who exited with a min-cash.

Ace-High Good for Litt

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Matthew Schreiber raised it up from the cutoff and David Litt three-bet on the button. The blinds folded and Schreiber called to see a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Schreiber check-called a bet from Litt and the {q-Spades} landed on the turn.

Schreiber led out with a bet this time and Litt raised. Schreiber called and the {5-Diamonds} rolled off on the river. Both players tapped the table and Litt turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Schreiber messed around with his cards and flashed {j-Hearts}{9-Spades} before they went into the muck.

Woodward Goes for Thin Value

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Matt Woodward raised it up on the button and Kyle Dilschneider defended from the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Dilschneider check-called a bet from Woodward.

The {7-Spades} paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Dilschneider checked for the third time and Woodward went for another bet. Dilschneider called and Woodward tabled {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for two pair, good enough to win the hand.

Klassen Has It

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Yi Klassen opened from the hijack and Matthew Rightnour called on the button.

Klassen checked on the flop of {2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} and called a bet from her opponent. Klassen checked again on the {8-Clubs} turn and Rightnour once again bet. Klassen check-raised and Rightnour entered the tank.

"I have a big hand," Rightnour said before eventually folding.

After the hand, Klassen told Rightnour that she "had it."

"By 'had it' I hope you don't mean ace-jack," Rightnour laughed.

"No," replied Klassen, claiming she had a set.

Dilschneider Finally Wins One

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Matt Woodward raised it up from the cutoff and Matthew Rightnour called on the button. Kyle Dilschneider re-raised from the small blind and both Woodward and Rightnour called.

"I need to win this hand!" Dilschneider exclaimed prior to the flop of {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} being spread out.

Dilschneider led out with a bet and both Woodward and Rightnour still called. The {a-Hearts} came on the turn and Dilschneider fired again. Woodward folded this time but Rightnour still called.

The {3-Clubs} completed the board and Dilschneider unleashed a third bullet. Rightnour finally let his hand go and Dilschneider raked in a healthy pot.
