Johnson Gets "Lucky" Again

Level 10 : 2,000/3,000, 0 ante

David Lieberman raised it up from the cutoff and Marco Johnson three-bet from the small blind. Lieberman called and the flop came {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Johnson continued with a bet and Lieberman called.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Johnson fired out another bet. Lieberman still called and the {4-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Johnson bet one last time and Lieberman called. Johnson flipped over {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for two pair while Lieberman held {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a smaller two pair.

"You got lucky again," Lieberman joked. "I had nut flush draw, two pair draw. What was your kicker again?"
