Brandon Cantu: /

Ben Diebold: /
/
After losing that recent huge pot to a mega-cooler, Brandon Cantu was on the right end of one to double up through Ben Diebold.
Cantu and Diebold got four bets each in on third street, then Cantu led fourth and fifth, receiving calls from Diebold.
After Cantu bet again on sixth, Diebold raised, and Cantu put his final 17,000 chips in the middle.
Cantu had aces in the hole for eights full of aces, while Diebold had started with rolled-up tens but now needed to improve.
Cantu was unable to pair up on seventh for a better full house, while just for fun, Cantu was dealt the final eight in the deck to make quads and double up to 100,000 chips.

Brandon Cantu: /

Thomas Taylor: /
/
Brandon Cantu retold a bad beat hand to PokerNews following a big lost pot.
On third street, Cantu completed, he was called by Ben Diebold. There was a third bet put in by another player that was not identified in the retelling. Thomas Taylor called the three-bet, Diebold got out of the way, the three-bettor then put in a fourth bet. Taylor and Cantu both called.
From that point action was not told but Cantu emphasized how he had rolled-up sevens. While Taylor had buried tens and even though Cantu had a deuce, Taylor hit the three remaining deuces on fourth, fifth and sixth streets to make a full house. Cantu bricked the rest of the way to leave his rolled-up sevens unimproved and Taylor took the big pot.
Cantu said that the odds of him losing that hand with the cards shown was 424-to-1, according to what he had looked up. He called it "my worst beat of this year's WSOP by far."

Marco Johnson: /
Ben Diebold called a seventh street raise from Marco Johnson and the cards were revealed quickly as it was evident that Marco Johnson had the hammer with quad sixes which he said he got on fifth street. Diebold's hand was ushered into the muck as he shed a portion of his big stack across the table.

- folded fourth street
With the betting lead on sixth street, Kane Kalas checked, Randy Ohel checked behind and then Yuval Bronshtein put out a bet.
Kalas then raised, and despite being the only player left in the hand with an unpaired board, Randy Ohel needed a couple of minutes in the tank.
Ultimately, he chose to fold, then with action back on Bronshtein, he put in a third bet, which now sent Kalas into the tank.
After he deliberated, Kalas opted to toss his cards away as well, leaving Bronshtein to collect a healthy pot.

Ben Diebold: /
John Lytle: /
With several bets in the middle already on seventh street, Ben Diebold checked to John Lytle, who bet.
Diebold then check-raised his opponent, who called.
"I'm full" said this year's $10,000 Dealer's Choice champion, who then rolled over another nine and deuce in the hole for deuces full of nines.
Lytle mucked his hand and is now on a short stack, while Diebold has been on a heater as he is now among the chip leaders.
Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, the third place finisher in the $10,000 Dealer's Choice event Brian Rast was eliminated.

Every player at the table entered the pot as fourth street was dealt for a true family pot.
Brandon Cantu bet 5,000 on fourth street. Ben Diebold raised to 10,000 and said "let's see if we can get some people out of here". Which he did as, Kevin Gerhart, Thomas Taylor and Yueqi Zhu all folded. John Lytle and Oxana Cummings called and Cantu also called the raise to bring four players to fifth street.
On fifth street, Diebold bet with the lead and all three of his opponents called.
On sixth street, it checked to Cummings who bet, Cantu folded, Diebold called and Lytle also folded to make it a heads up pot going into seventh street. Diebold check-called the bet from Cummings on seventh.
Cummings said she only had a pair and Diebold tabled the for aces up which won the family pot leaving Cummings short who would bust shortly afterwards.
