Diebold Surprises Lytle on River

Level 12

Ben Diebold: {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}/{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
John Lytle: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}/{x-}{x-}{x-}

With several bets in the middle already on seventh street, Ben Diebold checked to John Lytle, who bet.

Diebold then check-raised his opponent, who called.

"I'm full" said this year's $10,000 Dealer's Choice champion, who then rolled over another nine and deuce in the hole for deuces full of nines.

Lytle mucked his hand and is now on a short stack, while Diebold has been on a heater as he is now among the chip leaders.

Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, the third place finisher in the $10,000 Dealer's Choice event Brian Rast was eliminated.
