Rotholz's Baby Pair Holds Up

Level 5

Hal Rotholz: {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}/{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Christopher Claassen: {j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}/{x-}{x-}{x-}

After Christopher Claassen raised Hal Rotholz's bring-in, Rotholz defended, then called a bet on fourth street.

Rotholz picked up an ace on fifth street to take the betting lead but checked, then called another bet from Claassen.

Rotholz checked sixth and seventh streets, and Claassen shut down the aggression, checking back both streets.

Rotholz then showed another three in the hole for just a pair of threes, which were enough to win the pot and bring his short stack a bit of health.

Meanwhile, Alex Livingston has joined the field at this table as well.
