Tretter Surprises Anderson

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Calvin Anderson raised from the under the gun and action folded around to Karl Tretter in the big blind, who three-bet. Anderson made the call.

Tretter stood pat on the first draw while Anderson drew two. Tretter then led into Anderson who again called.

On the second draw, Tretter did not take a card and Andreson drew one. Tretter bet for a second time but was met by a raise from Anderson. After some consideration Tretter made the call.

The final draw saw Tretter take two cards, much to the surprise of Anderson who exclaimed, "I wasn't expecting that. Maybe one...or four". Anderson stood pat and then bet after Tretter checked to him. Tretter appeared displeased as he reluctantly tossed his hand into the muck.

Elsewhere the eliminations continue to come at a breakneck pace.
