Kessler Chips Up

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Allen Kessler raised from the cutoff and was only called by Qinghai Pan in the big blind. Both Kessler and Pan drew two on the initial draw after which Pan led into Kessler, who called.

On the second draw, Pan took one while Kessler opted to stand pat. Pan did not choose to bet for a second time, instead checking to Kessler who bet his pat hand. Pan called to send the two players to the final draw.

The final draw saw Pan once again draw one while Kessler stood pat. Action checked through and Kessler revealed {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{4-} to beat the nine-eight of Pan.

Action has been fast paced to start the day, with a slew of eliminations in the first half-hour.
