Matthew Steinberg Eliminated in 6th Place ($180,872)

Level 17 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Matthew Steinberg moved all in for 660,000 from under the gun. He was called in two spots by David Peters in the cutoff and Chance Kornuth out of the small blind.

The flop {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} was checked by both players. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}. Kornuth bet 1,400,000 and Peters called.

The river was the {a-Hearts} and Kornuth bet 2,450,000. Peters called.

"Set," said Kornuth, tabling {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

"I had outs," said Steinberg with {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and he was eliminated. Peters' {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a rivered two pair was also tabled.

"It's my biggest cash ever," Steinberg said to his tablemates. "My biggest cash before this was like $5,000." He also told them he planned on playing the $25,000 heads-up on June 2.

With that hand Kornuth took over the chip lead as the final five players bagged up for the day.
