The first day of Event #18: $1,500 Freezout No-Limit Hold'em of the 2022 World Series of Poker is set to begin at 11 a.m local time in its new home at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas.

In the previous and first edition last year, the tournament brought out 1,358 entrants to generate a prizepool of $1,208,620. After two days of battle, Dalibor Dula, from Czech Republic, bested Cole Ferraro heads up to take down the $199,227 first prize and his first WSOP bracelet

Players start with 20,000 in chips and blinds begin at 100-100 with a 100 big blind ante. Levels are 40 minutes long with a 20-minute break after every three levels and there will be a 75-minute dinner break after level 9 (≈ 5:40 p.m.). Play on Day 1 starts at 11 a.m. local time and is scheduled for 17 levels, with late registration ending after dinner break, around 6:55 p.m. As per freezeout rules, once a player is eliminated, they will not be able to re-enter the event.

Like last year, this event is scheduled for two days, with action resuming at 12 p.m. on June 10th inside of Bally’s where the players will continue to play for the coveted bracelet. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all your WSOP updates!
