Pizzolato's Third Barrel Takes Pot Without Showdown

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Shankar Pillai opened the action for 35,000 from the button. The small blind got out of the way before Giuseppe Pizzolato put in the call from the big blind.

After the {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, Pillai fired again, but smaller, for 25,000. Pizzolato put in the check-raise of 80,000, and Pillai called.

On the {3-Clubs} turn, Pizzolato led out, firing a barrel of 90,000. After some moments of thought, Pillai made the call.

The {10-Spades} river elicited an even larger bullet from Pizzolato, who fired 150,000 into the middle. Pillai took a couple minutes to consider his decision, before exasperatedly tossing his cards in the muck, giving Pizzolato the pot.
