Cleeton Gets Two Wins Before the Break

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With Veronica Brill peeling his cards, KL Cleeton was in the cutoff and heads-up against the hijack seat. There was around 45,000 in the pot and a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

The turn came {j-Hearts} and the hijack checked to Cleeton who bet 15,000. After tanking for a few minutes, the hijack called.

On the river was an {a-Spades} and it was checked to Cleeton again who bet 20,000. His opponent folded and he won the pot without showing.

Cleeton's next hand there was around 20,000 in the pot and a flop of {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. It was heads-up once again between Cleeton and the button. The flop came down {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Cleeton bet 7,500. The button called.

A {j-Spades} came out on the turn and Cleeton bet 25,000 and received another call.

The river was a {6-Spades} to which Cleeton bet 15,000 and got called again. Cleeton flipped his cards over to show {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and the button mucked his hands. Cleeton's stack was 180,000 heading in to the dinner break.
