Ross Halfway to Victory, According to Moncek

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante

Ben Ross limped in and called after Michael Moncek raised. Moncek checked the {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and Ross bet.

Moncek called, then led out on the {a-Clubs} turn. Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} river and Ross showed {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to win the pot with a pair of eights.

"Four hands in a row, you win the tournament," Moncek said after the hand.

"There's one," Ross replied.

The next hand, Ross called a pre-flop raise and a bet on the {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. They both checked the {q-Clubs} turn before Ross led out on the {2-Clubs} river. Moncek called.

"You lose," Ross said, turning over {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for two pair.

"There's the second one I need. Just two more," he said.
