Moncek Running Away with the Tournament

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante
Michael Moncek
Michael Moncek

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} Christoph Kwon bet into Michael Moncek who made the call.

The {q-Clubs} fell on the turn and Kwon check-called Moncek's bet.

The {7-Hearts} hit the river and Kwon checked once again, and Moncek put in a bet. Kwon tanked for some time and made the call. Moncek tabled {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a full house and the dealer pushed him the pot.

The following hand, Yueqi Zhu raised in the small blind and Moncek called from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Moncek check-called a bet from Zhu.

The {9-Spades} hit the turn and Moncek checked before Zhu checked back.

When the {3-Hearts} completed the board, Moncek checked once again, and Zhu put in a bet. Moncek instantly splashed in the call and tabled the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, defeating Zhu's {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}.
