Badziakouski Leaves One Chip Behind

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised it up from early position and Sam Soverel re-raised to 84,000 from the big blind. Badziakouski called and they went heads-up to a flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Soverel checked to Badziakouski who bet 40,000 only to have Soverel check-raise to 133,000. Badziakouski called and the {j-Clubs} double-paired the board on the turn.

Soverel checked again and Badziakouski bet 100,000 this time. Soverel just called and the {3-Spades} landed on the river. Soverel checked once more and Badziakouski slid all but one chip forward, a bet of 136,000. Soverel looked disgusted as he leaned back in his chair and ultimately decided to fold.

Foxen Fills Up to Double Up

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

There were a couple of preflop raises between Alex Foxen and Alexandros Theologis and the two players got all of the chips in the middle preflop with Foxen at risk for 200,000.

Alex Foxen: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Alexandros Theologis: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Foxen still held the lead with his pair of eights. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave Theologis a straight but Foxen also made a full house, leaving the {k-Diamonds} on the river insignificant.

Shak Spikes a Three-Outer to Double-Up

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action folded around to Dan Shak on the button who open-shipped all in for 171,000. Erik Seidel woke up with a premium in the big blind and called.

Dan Shak: {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Erik Seidel: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Seidel still held a dominating advantage over Shak. However, the {3-Hearts} on the turn gave Shak two pair and the lead. The {5-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Shak earned a double up.

Sergio Aido: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Stanley Tang: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Punsri Doubles Through Negreanu

Level 7 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Punnat Punsri moved in his 135,000 chips from early position and was at risk against Daniel Negreanu in middle position.

Punnat Punsri: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Daniel Negreanu: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

"Two overs, just barely," Negreanu said.
