Schindler Calls Bluff to Vault into Lead

Level 23 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

Jake Schindler limped with {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Brek Schutten checked his option with {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

The dealer fanned the {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and the duo checked to the {3-Hearts} turn. Schutten checked, Schindler bet 800,000, and Schutten check-raised to 2,400,000. Schindler called.

The {6-Clubs} fell on the river and Schutten announced "all in" fairly quickly. Schindler stretched his arms and looked at the board as he contemplated a decision for his tournament life. Ultimately, he put in the chips.

The hands were tabled and Schindler saw the good news as he stayed alive and jumped into the chip lead.
