Sammartino Loses a Couple

Level 17 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Peters opened to 200,000 from under the gun and was called by Dario Sammartino on his left and Brekstyn Schutten in the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Spades} and Peters continued with a bet of 180,000 which only Sammartino called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Peters pushed out a bet of 550,000 which finally got Sammartino to lay his hand down.

On the next hand, Sammartino raised to 200,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger called on his left. The two players went heads-up to a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} where they both checked.

The {j-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Sammartino led out with a bet of 260,000. Lichtenberger called and the {8-Hearts} completed the board. Sammartino checked this time and Lichtenberger announced a bet of 950,000. Sammartino used his full 30 seconds but decided to fold again.
