Schutten and Deeb Get Paid on the River

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Brekstyn Schutten limped in from the small blind and Dario Sammartino raised to 175,000 out of the big blind. Schutten called and the dealer fanned the flop of {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Both players checked through to the {a-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Clubs} on the river.

Schutten finally tossed in a bet of 100,000 and Sammartino looked him up. Schutten tabled {8-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens and Sammartino mucked.

Next door, Mikita Badziakouski and Shaun Deeb were heads-up on a board reading {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Badziakouski led out for 175,000 from the big blind and Deeb called on his left.

The river was the {a-Spades} and Badziakouski checked this time. Deeb put together a bet of 310,000 and Badziakouski called. Deeb rolled over {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a rivered two pair and Badziakouski rolled his eyes as his cards went to the muck.
