Badziakouski Gives Up on the River

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 10,000 on the button and Miguel Capriles called from the small blind. Mikita Badziakuouski three-bet to 50,000 in the big blind and only Lichtenberger called.

The dealer fanned the flop of {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Badziakouski continued with a bet of 35,000. Lichtenberger called and the {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Badziakouski fired out another bet of 100,000 but Lichtenberger still called.

The {7-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Badziakouski checked this time. Lichtenberger checked it back and Badziakouski rolled over {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for complete air. Lichtenberger showed {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for two pair and was awarded the pot.
