Marquez Up to 8.5M After Huge Double-Up

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Thomas Ruwald opened for 700,000 from the hijack and Samitti Eksarunchai, from the button, shoved his stack that covered everyone else into the middle.

Ralph Marquez, from the small blind, thought for over two minutes before putting his stack worth 3.675 million into the middle.

Ruwald looked perplexed and himself thought about ripping his final three million but eventually opted to fold.

Ralph Marquez: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Samitti Eksarunchai: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} to put Marquez way out in front. Ruwald, who had folded, claimed that he would've flopped two pair with {k-}{q-}.

The {8-Diamonds} came on the turn before the dramatic {5-Spades} on the river which had Marquez punching the air in excitement as he took down the 8.55 million-chip pot.
