Randy Ohel Eliminated in 6th Place ($55,329)

Level 21
Randy Ohel
Randy Ohel

Pot-Limit Omaha

After leading much of the day, Randy Ohel has just been eliminated in the biggest pot of the tournament at the hands of Brian Rast.

The action began with Rast raising to 55,000 in the cutoff and Ohel three-betting to 175,000 from the big blind.

Rast called to see a flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Ohel then led out for 380,000, and Rast began a deep deliberation.

After a couple of minute, Rast declared "pot" which would account for all of Ohel's approximately 1,400,000 chips.

Ohel pushed his stack forward and the largest pot of the tournament saw cards on their backs.

Randy Ohel: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Brian Rast: {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Rast had pairs for every card on the flop, while Ohel held overpairs, a flush draw, and a gutshot straight draw.

The dealer then dropped the {4-Diamonds} and {2-Diamonds} on the turn and river, bringing no help to Ohel, who was eliminated in shocking fashion just before the players went on break for dinner.
