Andreas Kniep opened to 800,000 from under the gun and was called by Jack Oliver in middle position. Demosthenes Kiriopoulos was in the big blind and dropped in a stack of 1,000,000 chips. Kniep and Oliver were both put to the test for the tournament life but opted to fold.

In the next hand, Kiriopoulos limped in from the small blind and Kniep checked his option. The flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Kiriopoulos led out for 400,000 which Kniep folded to.

A couple of hands later, Kiriopoulos opened to 800,000 in the cutoff and Oliver defended from the big blind. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Oliver check-folded to a bet of 600,000 from Kiriopoulos.
