Lococo Chips Up With a Set

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Three ways to the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} turn, Cole Ferraro checked out of the big blind and Nick Petrangelo bet 425,000 from under the gun. Alejandro Lococo called on the button and Ferraro came along as well. The {3-Diamonds} on the river slowed down the action as all three checked it down. Ferraro showed the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the top pair and Petrangelo mucked. However, it was Lococo who won the pot with the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a set of eights to further rise on the leaderboard.
