Cowen Cracks Aces to Eliminate Armstrong

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Stephen Song opened to 100,000 and Robert Cowen three-bet to 325,000. Nicholas Rigby flat-called and Benjamin Armstrong four-bet shoved for 1,170,000. Song folded and Cowen then jammed his stack of 1,390,000 and Rigby called for about a million more.

Benjamin Armstrong: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Robert Cowen: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Nicholas Rigby: {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Armstrong had aces while Cowen had jacks and Rigby was in the mix with the three-deuce. Armstrong's aces were still ahead after the flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} but the {j-Hearts} on the turn catapulted Cowen ahead. Cowen nearly tripled when the {7-Spades} peeled off on the river while Armstrong was eliminated.
