Leanos Calls Down Ogita

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Michael Leanos and Daisuke Ogita built up a pot of around 8,000 pre-flop. Ogita bet 3,500 on the {7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades} board and Leanos called.

The river came the {3-Diamonds} and Ogita continued for 7,200. Leanos again called to see the {10-Diamonds} fall on the river. Ogita bet another 5,500 and Leanos quickly called.

Ogita showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}, but Leanos had outflopped him with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for two pair, aces and sevens.

Ogita was left with around 25,000 but got some back the next hand when he three-bet to 3,000 from the button and an opponent called in the hijack. Ogita bet 3,500 on the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and was called, then both players checked down the {3-Hearts} turn and {a-Spades} river. His opponent turned over {10-}{9-} for a missed straight draw, while Ogita showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} to win with king-high.
