Raymer Shoves River

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

Greg Raymer raised to 800 from early position and both the small blind and big blind called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} and the blinds both checked to Raymer who continued for 1,200. The small blind called and the big blind got out of the way.

The dealer dropped the {4-Hearts} on the turn and once checked to Raymer fired in a bet of 2,500, which was called by the small blind.

The {6-Spades} landed on the river and the small blind checked for the third and final time before Raymer piled his remaining stack of 9,000 in the middle. The small blind went deep into the tank for about two minutes before releasing his hand.
