Alarm Blares as Koon Folds

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Kevin Rabichow called from the small blind and Jason Koon checked his option.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and both players checked to see {j-Spades} on the turn.

Rabichow bet 100,000 on the turn and Koon called. The river was {7-Diamonds}.

Rabichow continued for 225,000 and Koon went into the tank as the fire alarm screeched in the background. There did not appear to be an issue in or around the Amazon room, and there had been no order to leave. The occasional alarm has not been uncommon at the 2021 WSOP.

Koon took exception to the distraction while throwing his hand in the muck. The floor staff decided to stop the clock and pause the tournament until the situation is assessed and the noise stops.
