Tice Makes Two Pair to Eliminate Opponent

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Landon Tice
Landon Tice

A player jammed for his last 13,500 in early position and Landon Tice isolated by ripping all-in for about 33,000 next to act. The table folded around and both players tabled their hands.

Opponent: {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Landon Tice: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Tice was ahead with ace-high and the flop of {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} gave him a gutshot straight draw as well. The {j-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing and the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave him two pair to send his opponent to the rail.

Muhr Gets Two Streets

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Fabio Muhr raised under the gun to 6,000 and the big blind defended.

The dealer fanned a flop of {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the big blind check-called the continuation bet of 4,000.

The {7-Hearts} hit the turn and the big blind check-called once again, this time Muhr fired 14,000.

The {6-Spades} hit the river, completing the board and both players quickly checked. The big blind tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Muhr took down the pot with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Lewis Crushes Two Opponents

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

All of the chips went in the middle before the flop, with one player all in for about 5,000 while the second shortest had about 30,000 and Romain Lewis was putting them both at risk for their tournament life.

Shortest-Stacked Player: {j-Spades}{4-Spades}
All-in Player: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Romain Lewis: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, giving Lewis the lead as he flopped an ace. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {k-Hearts} river were no help for the opponents and Lewis scooped the pot as he busted both of them.

Fragoso Eliminated by Nikov

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Francisco Fragoso
Francisco Fragoso

Francisco Fragoso raised to 18,000 from the small blind was called by the big blind Dobromir Nikov.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Fragoso bet 25,000 and Nikov went all-in for about 100,000 in chips.

Fragoso tanked for a while before making the call and putting himself at risk for his tournament life.

Francisco Fragoso: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Dobromir Nikov: {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Nikov flopped a straight and Fragoso would need a lot of help but the board completed {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} which would be no help to Fragoso who would be eliminated.
