Lau Left Standing in Five-Way Pot

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Brian Rast just took his seat at the table and raised to 6,000 from early position. He got four callers, including Felipe Ramos in middle position, Ka Kwan Lau in the small blind, and Josh Arieh in the big blind.

"Take it, Brian," Arieh joked as he became the fifth player to put chips in the pot.

"Raise and take it. It's that kind of table," Rast replied.

All five players checked the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop before Lau led out for 13,000 on the {9-Spades} turn. Only Ramos called to see the {3-Clubs} river.

Lau bet another 40,000 and this time Ramos threw his hand away.
