Sam Soverel raised from the button to 3,500 and Chance Kornuth, coming off his deep run in the Main Event, called in the small blind as did big blind Adam Hendrix.

The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and all three players checked. Action checked to Soverel on the {2-Clubs} turn and he bet 3,000. Kornuth raised to 12,000, Hendrix folded, and Soverel called to see the {a-Hearts} river.

Both players checked and Kornuth showed {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} for trip eights to win the pot. Kornuth began singing "Baby, I've got the money," while dragging in the chips.

"Sam's so good you have to try to tilt him," he said. "That's my plan for today. Tilt the best players and bluff the worst."
