Vogelsang Turtles on the River

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a four-bet pot, Fedor Holz and Christoph Vogelsang each stuck in 315,000 preflop. The dealer fanned the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and Holz check-called a bet of 125,000 from Vogelsang.

The turn brought the {a-Diamonds} and Holz checked again. Vogelsang threw in another 250,000 and Holz still called to see the {j-Spades} on the river. Holz checked for the third time and Vogelsang pushed in a bet of 430,000, leaving himself with just 5,000 behind.

Vogelsang immediately tucked his head and stared to the floor, with his hand and hat covering his face. Holz chuckled to himself as he pushed his cards to the muck.

Vogelsang held his position as the dealer pushed him the pot.

"Let's wait a bit," Holz said with a laugh.
