Huge Double for Varnell

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Craig Varnell
Craig Varnell

Craig Varnell raised under the gun to 15,000, the cutoff called, the button called and the big blind defended.

On the flop of {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} the big blind checked to Varnell and he fired out a bet of 25,000. The player in the cutoff thought about it for a moment and made the call before the other two pairs got out of the way.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Varnell check-raised all-in against the cutoff's bet of 150,000. Varnell had 244,000 and the cutoff who had Varnell covered, snap-called.

Craig Varnell: {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {5-Spades}{4-Spades}

Varnell had flopped trip sixes but was behind to the opponents turned flush. However, the river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds} giving Varnell a full house and an incredible double up.
