Racener Scores Double Knockout

Level 13
John Racener
John Racener

Frank Kassela and Carol Fuchs were both all in against John Racener and stood up from their seats with completed boards that were mixed into the muck.

Racener had {a-}{2-}{4-}{5-}{7-}{j-}{q-} in front of him for a seven-five — which was enough to bust both Kassela and Fuchs from contention.

Glaser Adds More

Level 13

On fourth street, Benny Glaser completed with an {a-} and was called by Everett Carlton who also started with an {a-}.

As their boards grew, Carlton bet fourth through sixth streets and was called each time by Glaser.

Their boards read:

Everett Carlton: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{2-}{9-}{10-}/{x-}
Benny Glaser: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{9-}{a-}{4-}/{x-}

On seventh street, Carlton now checked, and Glaser put forward a bet. Carlton quickly called to see bad news as Glaser showed {8-}{7-}{3-} in the hole for an eight-seven low, while Carlton could only show a nine-perfect.

Level 13
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth was the bring-in with a {9-} and was just called by both Jeff Lisandro and David Singer. Hellmuth bet fourth street, and only got called by Singer. On fifth street, Singer improved his board but opted to check to Hellmuth, who bet.

Their boards read:

David Singer: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{10-}{j-}
Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-}/{9-}{7-}{q-}
Jeff Lisandro: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{k-} - folded fourth street

While Singer contemplated his next move, Hellmuth said to Singer, "Don't fold here. All the bad players call. I want action!"

Singer indeed opted to fold, and Hellmuth showed {a-}{4-} in the hole then dragged the pot.
