Okamura Makes a Straight

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Pot-LImit Omaha

Motoyoshi Okamura raised the button to 400,000 and Rafael Mota defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {a-Spades} turn. Mota fired a bet of 500,000 and was quickly called.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board and Mota led out again for the same bet of 500,000 before Okamura raised to 1,400,000 which was called fairly quickly. Okamura tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a straight to the eight and took down the pot.
