Mota Shows a Two

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

No Limit Holdem

Elia Ahmadian raised to 65,000 preflop, and Rafael Mota defended the big blind.

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Mota check-called a bet of 55,000.

The turn was a {10-Diamonds} and Mota checked once more to Ahmadian, who bet 250,000, and Mota responded by going all-in for Ahmadian's remaining stack. Ahmadian went into the tank for about four minutes and tried talking to Mota. "You have ace-ten? It really feels like ace-ten," he said, contemplating what to do with his tournament life. He stood up and tossed {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} into the muck, which Mota responded to by flipping over a {2-Spades}. "Nice hand," Ahmadian said as Mota scooped in the pot.
