Ian O'Hara Eliminated in 4th Place ($27,147)

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Ian O'Hara
Ian O'Hara

Stud

The short-stacked Ian O'Hara had the bring in and then Ray Henson completed to 80,000. Jaswinder Lally put in 120,000, seemingly by accident, and given the amount it was ruled he had to raise to 160,000.

That prompted O'Hara to call off for 75,000 total, Henson came along, and there was a side pot on the line. Henson then bet fourth street and called when Lally raised. On fifth, Henson checked and folded when Lally bet 160,000.

Ray Henson: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} fold
Jaswinder Lally: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} / {3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} / {q-Diamonds}
Ian O'Hara: {k-Spades}{6-Spades} / {2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} / {8-Diamonds}

Lally revealed he had improved to a diamond flush on seventh, which rendered O'Hara's last card moot as he was drawing dead.

"Stud master," O'Hara knighted Lally before exiting the stage.

Adam Kipnis Eliminated in 5th Place ($18,839)

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Adam Kipnis
Adam Kipnis

Stud

Andrew Kelsall brought it in showing the {4-Spades} and Adam Kipnis completed. Jaswinder Lally then raised to 160,000, Kelsall got out of the way, and Kipnis called off his last 15,000.

Adam Kipnis: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} / {k-Diamonds}
Jaswinder Lally: {k-Hearts}{5-Spades} / {5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs} / {a-Spades}

Kipnis got it in good but things turned south quickly as Lally ripped off a full house in the first five cards. Lally was left drawing dead after sixth street and took his leave from the tournament in fifth place.

Kipnis On Fumes

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Omaha Eight or Better

Adam Kipnis opted to preserve his short stack for a better opportunity during a recent Omaha Eight or Better hand.

Preflop, Kipnis raised in the cutoff and was called in the big blind by Ray Henson.

Henson then led into Kipnis on the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, for a bet which would have forced Kipnis to commit half of his remaining stack.

Kipnis went into the tank for almost 3 minutes, inquiring about the amount of the current payouts, before ultimately folding and leaving himself with 115,000.

Seven Card Stud 8 or Better

Christopher Lindner is the latest victim of Jaswinder Lally's seven card rungood, and has been eliminated.

Facing a bet from Lally on fifth street, Lindner took his time before continuing in the hand. He then called a bet on sixth street and then raised Lally on seventh street for the last of his chips.

Lally happily called, revealing he had started the hand with rolled up deuces, and filled up on sixth street.

Christopher Lindner: {q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}/{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}/{6-Spades}
Jaswinder Lally: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}/{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}/{8-Hearts}

Lally's stack now sits at 3,700,000.

Kelsall Squeezes Seventh with Tournament Life on the Line

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Ian O'Hara brought it in and Jaswinder Lally completed. Andrew Kelsall raised all in for 115,000 total, O'Hara folded, and Lally called.

Jaswinder Lally: {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} / {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} / {j-Spades}
Andrew Kelsall: {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} / {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} / {2-Spades}

Kelsall's wired deuces held until Lally paired in fifth street, and with bricks on sixth, the former had to connect on seventh to stay alive.

Lally didn't improve so Kelsall had plenty of outs, and he squeezed out one of them as the {2-Spades} gave him trips and the double.

2-7 Triple Draw

Jaswinder Lally raised in the cutoff, and Andrew Kelsall moved in for his last 100,000 on the button.

Lally took one card on the first draw, while Kelsall took two.

Kelsall then patted the second draw while Lally still needed to draw one.

Kelsall patted once more, then accidentally revealed his {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} before Lally had sweated his final draw.

Lally showed that he was drawing to a seven, but pulled a {10-} to give Kelsall a much needed double-up.

Pat-Pat Lally

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Ray Henson raised to 120,000 from the hijack and Jaswinder Lally called from the small blind. The short-stacked Andrew Kelsall folded from the big and on the first draw Lally took one while Henson took two.

Lally led out with a bet of 60,000 and Henson called. The former stood pat and Henson took just one.

Lally bet 120,000, Henson called, and on the last draw they repeated. Lally bet 120,000 after standing pat and Henson, who drew one, folded after showing {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. He did not show the card he drew but it was evident it wasn't what he was looking for.
