Mateos Keeps Applying Pressure

Level 18 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Adrian Mateos was back at it again by raising to 160,000 in the cutoff. Jonathan Jaffe called from the big blind and the dealer spread the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Jaffe checked-called a bet of 325,000 from Mateos and the {9-Clubs} landed on the turn. Jaffe checked again and Mateos counted out a bet of 825,000 this time. Jaffe still called and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board.

Jaffe checked for the third time and Mateos pushed out almost all of his chips, a bet of 2,900,000. Jaffe went deep into the tank for over three minutes before finally sliding his cards to the muck.
