Mateos Keeps Adding to His Stack

Level 18 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Michael Liang raised to 165,000 from under the gun and was called by both Adrian Mateos and Tyler Cornell in the blinds. The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}, they all checked to the {6-Spades} on the turn. It was checked around again to the {a-Clubs} on the river. They all checked again for Mateos to claim the pot with the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

On the next hand, Mateos raised to 160,000 from the button and got called by Cornell and Liang in the blinds. The flop came {j-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Clubs}, it was checked to Mateos who continued with a bet of 140,000. Cornell was the only one to make the call. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and Cornell checked again. This time, Mateos opted to do the same to see the {8-Hearts} complete the board. Cornell contemplated his options and decided to bet 285,000. Mateos tanked for about 90 seconds and then raised to 2,200,000. Cornell folded.
