Kornuth Shows a Deuce

Level 2 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Joe McKeehen raised to 3,500 from under the gun and was called by Julien Martini in the cutoff and Chance Kornuth on the button. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the action checked to Kornuth who bet 8,000. McKeehen folded but Martini made the call.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Martini check-called another bet of 12,000 from Kornuth. The {q-Clubs} landed on the river and Martini quickly checked again. Kornuth ripped all in, putting Martini to the test for his remaining 97,000.

Martini ditched his cards and Kornuth let him choose one of his cards to flip over. It happened to be the {2-Diamonds} which got the table mumbling over what the other card could be.
